i have had a huge zit on the higher part of my nose for months and it has popped twice and still hasnt gone away. I have no idea how to make it go away. any ideas??How to pop an annoying zit?
After popping it (gently!) apply a spot treatment with benzoyl peroxide or a face wash with salycyclic acid. Do this for about a week, and it should be totally gone and shouldn't come back. You could just break out in that spot a lot and it could be a different zit...just make sure to keep that part of your face super-clean. Good luck! How to pop an annoying zit?
go into a humid room for 10 minutes
dampen a towel and gently squeese the blemish with it.
Then put on a mild abbrasive and then wash off.
Begin using an apricot scrub.
I can't belive the answer that said use her suggestion and in a week it will be gone.. LOL Don't touch it and in a week it will be gone! HA HA HA Sheesh!
pliers
Find an Oriental/Chinese store near you and buy Pearl Cream. It is one of the best things for getting rid of pimples ever. Only use it at night as it is a type of makeup and is extremely obvious.
put some toothpaste on it! don't pop it, though. dude....gosh.
i think i once had that under my eye/beside my nose. at first it was realy big. i poped it. it healed. then i noticed it was still there, only more under the skin. i poped it a gain. i still have it but its very small and people cant see it unless they comeup to me and fel it, wich people dont do lol. last time i went to the docters for a check up i asked him about that. he said to give it a few monthes. il naturally dissaper.
if it hasntgon away for months then go to the doctor. he'l giv u a cream that wil dry it up sooooooooooooooon
What you need to do is make sure your diet is healthy. Limit the amount of sweets you eat and make sure you are washing your face often. I have also seen success with acne by washing my bed sheets as often as possible. For the time being I would place a warm rag on the pimple until it comes to a head. Pop it and then let it drain. Follow these steps until it is completely drained and then continue to wash your face at least twice a day with an exfoliating scrub. I use Nivea for men, works great. Good Luck.
Apply calamine lotion right before bed. The zit will disappear before morning.
if its been there for 2 months then you should definitely go to a dermatologist or a doctor, it might not be just a zit, its probably infected.
Um......maybe it's not a zit, go to a dermatologist and have him/her check it out.
You either need to get some antibiotic cream, not ointment and put it on there twice a day or go to a dermatologist as this sounds like a boil, not a zit.

When i was a child i was seen by a GP who gave me a sulphur ointment for my zits. where do i buy it now?
when i was a child i was lucky enough to be seen by a GP who gave me a pep talk when i walked into his surgery as a spotty teenager looking for antinbiotics and miracle creams. He gave me a sulphur ointmentand told me to stop using soap and expensive and usless cosmetic and skin product. my zits went within a week. now my daughter (poor thing) has them and i dont know where do i buy sulphur ointment because outr modern pharmacies are so uptodate they dont boterwith 'those sort of oldy ointmnts' ';!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can anyone help me???When i was a child i was seen by a GP who gave me a sulphur ointment for my zits. where do i buy it now?
Most Pharmacies will still sell the preparation. I don't know where you live but the Helios place in Tunbridge-Wells sells it. I am sure you can find it online too.
Edit
Helios is online, I don't support quackery but they do sell other products apart from Homoeopathy:- http://www.helios.co.uk/
I can't find it on their site but I know they do sell it, it's not considered beneficial to acne which is why it's not longer prescribed. I tried it before myself. Evidence honestly shows it doesn't work but if you want to use it then give Helios a call, they deliver too. When i was a child i was seen by a GP who gave me a sulphur ointment for my zits. where do i buy it now?
I would read the ingredients of some of the high street zit creams as many have sulphur in them. I am certain that clearasil does.
I done some research when I noticed that the sulpher ointment would perhaps work for my son. Walgreens has
De La Cruz
Sulfer Ointment 10%
Zinc works to heal as well; if you can find it.

What is wrong with my skin?!!? one day it's flawless and smooth and the next day i have zits?
Seriously, just two days ago my face was soo smooth with no zits, and today i have 4! they just show up like that! and most of the time they're the kind of zits that are under the skin too! i wash my face daily and use tea tree oil.
how can i keep it smooth and zit free? im reallyy considering buying proactiv ... but does it really work? or is there anything available in stores that works just as good? What is wrong with my skin?!!? one day it's flawless and smooth and the next day i have zits?
you prob got it cuz of stressWhat is wrong with my skin?!!? one day it's flawless and smooth and the next day i have zits?
I tried Proactiv and it worked for me very well. I saw results in about a week. Another option is Klear Action, it has the same ingredients as Proactiv, but it costs $9 less. Also, eating oily, salty foods can cause zits, so can lots of stress. Eating vegetables and fruits will also help get your skin under control.
it's probably just your hormones
just keep on cleaning it consistently
Your a teenager dahling, just use face masks and a good moisturizer, its fine everyone has spots at your age.
Blitz those zits to bits with tooth paste, use when going to bed.

Okay so I have never had an achne problem, but I was on accutane to get rid of the zits I would get every?
now and then, well now I have been getting a few ever so often and I am wondering if I should just go back onto accutane and get rid of them for good. The dermatologist thinks I am being crazy and over reacting, but it's my buisness if I want a flawless face. Do you think this is a good idea?Okay so I have never had an achne problem, but I was on accutane to get rid of the zits I would get every?
Accutane is definately not good for your skin, especially if you don't have severe acne. Right now I'm thinking about buying ClearComplex from http://www.purivol.com. Look around there are many other options besides Accutane.Okay so I have never had an achne problem, but I was on accutane to get rid of the zits I would get every?
Hey there,
I understand what it feels like to want flawless skin...I think everyone wants that. But I think going on accutane a second time is really not a good idea. I took accutane once for very bad acne on my back and chest, but only after I had tried absolutely everything. I spent probably 5 years trying to find an alternative solution until finally I decided to take accutane because it was really interfering with my life.
But accutane can have very serious side effects, especially if you are older and could potentially see yourself having children in the next few years...it can cause serious birth defects, but I don't know if that applies to you or not. Even if you don't see yourself having kids anytime soon, there are serious risks to taking accutane that you need to consider.
You have to make a judgement call between the risks/benefits of taking this medication. In my case, the acne that I was experiencing was interfereing with my quality of life because it was so severe, and so in order to gain a HUGE benefit, I had to take a bit of a risk. But the benefit of preventing a couple of random pimples here and there doesn't really outweigh the risks that are associated with accutane, especially since the risks are now doubled since it will be your second time around.
That being said, wanting great skin is a worthy goal and one which you should be able to accomplish, but you will probably be more successful putting some other things into practice, rather than taking the medication again. Accutane is intended for acne that is so serious that it is too difficult to treat using other methods. But if you just get one or two here and there, there are other things you can do! I would suggest scheduling a facial. I have yet to have one but plan to, because I hear they can give you that extra boost to make your skin as close to perfect as it will get! Also, take some time to try out different skin care brands to find out what works for you. I use clinique and find that it works really well.
It's also important to remember that everyone, even the richest celebrities in the world who have every skin care solution at their disposal, still gets blemishes here and there. Nothing can prevent them completely, you can just keep them under control. I wish there was a sure-fire solution to ensure that my skin would be perfect ALL of the time, but unfortunately, there isn't one, not even accutane. I would suggest that you take the Doctors advice. Persuading him to give you the medication again when he doesn't feel it is necessary makes him compromise his integrity as a doctor since ultimately, he is responsible for perscribing the medication. As a professional, he is expected to make responsible decisions if something were to go wrong with you, he would be partly at fault.
I hope this helps! If you decide to try out different skin care methods, post a new question and I would be happy to give you some advice about specific products that I've used and loved!
don,t smother your face in creams..makeup..or such..rarely wash your face ..then only with a mild soap..mostly rinse your face in warm ..not hot..water..and pat it dry with a soft towel..don't eat chocolates..or other greasy foods..if you wash your face too often you remove the skins defences thus letting impurities in..frank..
no I would make sure you cleansing regimine is better and drink more water and ingest less toxins. if the dermatologist thinks you are being absurd perhaps you are. if you want perfect skin you have to put in healthy ingredients in your mouth. why take a pill that your body doesn't need, that doesn't sound healthy.
flawless skin and the side effects of accutane. Not such a great combo%26gt; you are crazy!
It is possible that in your quest for flawless skin, you might actually make it worse. I suggest just using a face wash, benzoyl peroxide, and moisturizer. Cetaphil has a great skin care line. Washes and moisturizers. It's expensive, but worth it. Ask your dermatologist if he is willing and able to give you a prescription for the products that way insurance can cut the cost if you need it. Don't put make up on your young skin on a regular basis, save it for special occasions. You'll find your natural beauty will last and you won't need to enhance it even as you get older. Drink a lot of water too.
I was on Accutane also and I do get a zit every now and then again but it is not as nearly as bad. Right now I just use Clean %26amp; Clear Persa Gel 10 when I get a zit and it dries it up quickley and the zit goes away. I would try that.
I was on accutane for awhile. It is a strong prescription!! Why don't you try Proactive for awhile. It helped me.

How do you get rid of an under the skin zit (Please help)?
Don't tell me how gross this is unless it's constructive. I know. It's on my face.
Anyway, I have a HUGE under the skin zit on my chin. I have a bump maybe the size of a quarter there and I don't want to wait for it to come to a head. How can I pop it or use another method to make it go away by tomorrow? I need to make a good impression.. tomorrow morning! Help! How do you get rid of an under the skin zit (Please help)?
Well i can tell you one thing, if you touch it you will make it worse so DONT!!! stress will definintely aggravate it I promise you so try not to think about it. It may be hard but if you busy yourself and ban yourself from looking in the mirror for the night you should be ok. I don't know what creams you have in your house but you can buy over the counter creams. If not put a huge blob of toothpaste on it which should dry it out. I used to have bad skin so I know how you feel. If I wanted to draw attention away from a spot I would try to accentuate my eyes or lips too. I remember once I had a massive spot and was going to a disco the next night. I actually forgot about it and it was gone the next day so just try not to pay too much attention to it.How do you get rid of an under the skin zit (Please help)?
Whatever you do don't touch it as the oils from your fingers will make it worse. I suggest putting on a good face mask, splashing your face with cold water and leaving tea tree cream oil on overnight. In the morning if it still hasn't gone put some concealer on or put lots of make up on your eyes so it doesn't look as prominent.
Best of luck xx
Lisa's right.
Last weekend i had a HUUUGE one right between my eyes!
it was gross..
So i put on lots of eyes make up and tried to forget it, and it was hardly noticable the next day!
It didnt even turn into a whitehead!
But thanks again lisa, that toothpaste thing is actually a goo idea:)
I know from experience if you mess with those kind of spots it only makes them worse. Leave it alone and it may go down overnight.microsoft office

When i pop them they stay around for days!! Face scrubs, soaps, and shampoo just make them worse.... Its realy messing my self confidence up bad!!!! any suggestions on what to do to treat this!!I was wondering if anyone out there has a problem with red bumps on there temples but they arnt zits?
omg i totally understand. ivetried alot. you can pick and them and **** but theynever go away. thanks for your question.I was wondering if anyone out there has a problem with red bumps on there temples but they arnt zits?
You might be allergic to a product you are using on your hair or your face. Switch to extra gentle shampoo and face products. Use some hydrocortisone cream and see if that helps clear it up - hydrocortisone will clear it right up if it is an allergy. Also, if you wear a bike helmet, sunglasses or some other thing that touches that area regularly, be sure that item is cleaned and sanitized. My bike helmet makes my forehead break out when it gets really hot.
It could be ingrown hairs, they're quite small, and just swell a bit, causing some inflammation (that red part, and the white plasma that comes out)
Try finding ';blemish fighting'; face soap, and look for something at the drug store that stops ingrown hairs. if it persists, go to the dermatologist, they have steroidal creams and that for treatment.

apply proactive or benzoyl peroxide2.5 its very effective for acne and pimples鈥?br>
drink 8-10 glasses of water
Crush mint leaves to extract the juices. Apply the juice to your face every night. This acne home remedy also the tooth paste works too. To remove the redness apply the eye drops which reduces the redness I think its called Visine it instantly removes the redness.
apply ice to your face regularly it closes the pores so that would definitely reduce the acne breakout
check this site to find out how to get rid of pimples and its mark , it has good home remedies hope this helps

Once a month (PMS) I get these hard under the skin bumps on my face that are like big zits but nothing comes..
out when they are squeezed, they just get bigger %26amp; more red. They arent really visible like zits either unless they flare up really big. My mom gets them sometimes too %26amp; so does my boyfriend so I know its not a weird skin condition. Is this cystic acne? How can I treat this??Once a month (PMS) I get these hard under the skin bumps on my face that are like big zits but nothing comes..
I used to get them also. Mine if they stayed long enough to become ripe contained blood. I used to call them blood boils. I no longer have periods, but every blue moon will still get one. Try using a warm damp cloth on the affected area with a little amount of pressure ( I know it is very painful to do). Why your boyfriend gets them I don't know. Last resort is to see a doctor. Good Luck!!Once a month (PMS) I get these hard under the skin bumps on my face that are like big zits but nothing comes..
I get the same kind of zits just before my period too! They are painful , hard and nasty looking i know. They are due to Ur hormones fluctuating just b4 Ur period and some girl get them and others don't. I tend to get them on my chin and i can't even touch them cause they r so painful! it's so depressing i know so the best thing you can do is visit Ur gynecologist and explain to her that Ur suffering with this issue. I ended up going on the pill for a while and it did actually help my skin condition, (i took a blood test that checks hormone levels and it turned out that i had a slight I'mbalance) im guessing that's what u may have ? otherwise if going on the pill doesn't sound gr8 i suggest you go to Ur dermatologist and again explain Ur situation, telling him or her that that its just b4 Ur periods that u get them. I'm sure they may prescribe some kind of topical treatment that may help. My advice? keep ur skin clean and when u start pmsing and feel that pain under ur skin (its how it starts right?) grab some antibiotic cream like fuiciderm and apply every couple of hours ..it helps with me , but again please check it out with a healthcare professional first! mine are better and not as bad as before, dnt worry in time all this will go. GOOD luck sweety x

Whats the easiest way to get rid of a zit overnight at home?
I HAVE SCHOOL PICTURES TOMORROW!!!Whats the easiest way to get rid of a zit overnight at home?
toothpaste works... leave it on all night and it should be alot smaller and then jus a lil makeup will help finish the job.... i did that for mineWhats the easiest way to get rid of a zit overnight at home?
i wish i knew
toothpaste..it drys out the pimple and makes it appear smaller
i have heard that toothpaste really works....
so i would give that a tryy i mean I'm sure it sounds disgusting but it works so give it a try and if it is still a little noticeable in the morning just use some makeup to cover it up.
good luck
i hope i was helpful =]
apply toothpaste to the ';problem spot'; and let it dry. leave it on overnight and it should dry right up. if its still noticable, then cover it with foundation. by the way, what kind of sick place do you live in, going back to school so early???!!!
TOOTHPASTE!!! its amazing it makes it so much smaller and less red...then just cover it up with a little foundation or cover up...good luck!!
First, wash your hands and rinse your face with warm (not hot, that will dry out your skin and maybe burn it), water to open pores. next, (this mix is amazing!) mix your fave facial wash or soap with 1 spoonfull of cane or regular sugar. Let it sit 5 or less minutes or as long as you please. Next, rinse with cool water to close pores. Do not touch your face much that day. wash your hands often, so if you do have to touch your face, you'll be less oily. it shriks zits by a TON. another product you can try every other night would be my fave neutrogena oil-free face wash cream cleanser. (I mixed my sugar w/ Neoutrogena facial soap and i saw a difference overnight!). also try toothpaste to dry out the zit (my fave is regular Crest). A proven MYTH is that makeup can leave zits unless you do it constantly. but it is not good for your face to leave it on evernight...it'll dry out your skin. good luck, chica! i am starring that ?!
I am sorry to tell you this, but it is impossible to get rid of a zit that fast. Just cover it up with some make-up for the pictures, but then wash your face after wards. Always wash make-up off before bed because it could make the zit worse. Go to the drug store and buy some over the counter acne medicine. I get zits too, and they go away faster if you wash your face and use acne medicine.
Hope this helps!
I usually dab a little toothpaste on it over night to help dry it out. Maybe get a green corrector/concealer stick to help take the redness away, then use your regular coverup over top of it.
If it doesnt go away use some make up to amke it less noticable. And use benzoyl peroxide it might help just a bitt.
toothpaste works... leave it on all night and it should be alot smaller and then jus a lil makeup will help finish the job.... i did that for mineWhats the easiest way to get rid of a zit overnight at home?
i wish i knew
toothpaste..it drys out the pimple and makes it appear smaller
i have heard that toothpaste really works....
so i would give that a tryy i mean I'm sure it sounds disgusting but it works so give it a try and if it is still a little noticeable in the morning just use some makeup to cover it up.
good luck
i hope i was helpful =]
apply toothpaste to the ';problem spot'; and let it dry. leave it on overnight and it should dry right up. if its still noticable, then cover it with foundation. by the way, what kind of sick place do you live in, going back to school so early???!!!

Why would my skin doctor give me an ophthalmic ointment which is commonly used on dogs for my zits?
Here's the thing...
Whenever i have a huge breakout (due to a hormonal imbalance), i would go to this dermatologist in an aesthetic clinic (where they provide services like chemical peeling, botox, liposuction, collagen boost, etc) to laser on my huge zit. So every time after the doctor ';laser'; on my zit, his assistant would apply on a cream/ointment and also give some of it to me as a two day supply to be applied on the lasered zits, supposedly somekind of antibiotic/antiseptic cream i guess? So this time they gave it to me in its original packaging.
It's called ';Terramycin';: Ophthalmic Ointment. (by Pfizer)
I felt weird that i have to use an ophthalmic ointment for my skin, so just now i googled on ';terramycin ophthalmic ointment';. I'll kiss them, and make it all better...Why would my skin doctor give me an ophthalmic ointment which is commonly used on dogs for my zits?
Many pharmaceutical products are used both in human and veterinary practices. (One very promising arthritis drug developed for human use has a very unfortunate side effect in turning one's skin very yellow, and was thus removed from the market for humans. It is now a primary and excellent drug for arthritis in dogs, for which the side effect doesn't matter. My Yorkie takes it!) About your situation, you can ask the doctor and ask your pharmacists about this.
I have heard of oral use of tetracyclines (terramycin is a tetracycline) for acne.
The theory is that it acts by 'decreasing the fatty acid content of the sebum'. But studies do not really support its use that well.
Topical tetracycline is very cheap, it might help prevent infection after surgery, but being hygenic is probably just as good, alot of resistant strains of bacteria out there against it.
usual dose is 250mg orally twice a day.
Alot of medicines used on people are also used on animals and livestock. Its not that uncommon. My dog has a hydrocortisone cream for a skin condition. I use one, too, for my skin, when I get into something that breaks me out. If it works on the dog, it will probably work on you, too. Its nothing to worry about.
I looked it up, its to keep an infection from getting into your blemish.
I work at a shelter for animals and most of the medicines we use dogs and cats use them too' and the only difference is the price' as animal owners pay 50 percent more' than humans.I have some antibiotics the same kind my cats have' and the same milligrams and if i was not hip to ' it would of freaked me out too........Your fine' but if in doubt' call and ask.
There are a lot of products made for animals that work well for people. If you think about the product probably was intended for people first and then realized that it would work on animals. A lot of meds can be used both ways. I wouldn`t worry about. it. Unless you are worried that you might grow a tail or start barking, I would still use it. What you should do is ask you Dr just incase he made a mistake.
medicines used on humans are also used on animals
It is normally just the dosage that is different
Ointments can be used on humans and dogs for different things
here is one that talks about it treating acne
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terramycin
doctors are giving these medicine to you for good and if it doesnt work well till 6 months go and find another doctor.
the doctor you are visiting may be working for money not for peoples good will.
There are many, many drugs that are used for both humans and animals - Most antibiotics are for use in both, just in different strengths.
maybe your chemist can shed a lil light on this for you,i have pets, that have the same meds as us at times..you can ring the pharmacy and ask..
because he is a crack head
dunno sometimes they give you strange stuff
like the pill
i was given a tablet that was supposed to clear up urinary infections which worked really well
if it works just go with it
He is ridiculing you. Go find another doctor.
Has he noticed you're human, or is he blind as well?
Bow Wow~!!!
call your doctor and ask him, i'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing.
Well, if it makes you feel any better it contains as its active ingredients two mild antibiotics to kill bacteria; and if it is mild enough for a dog's eyes, it is probably mild enough for your skin.
However, I would be concerned and ask you dermatologist doctor if this is approved by the FDA for use on human skin. You might also check his/her medical license.
The good news is, if it is working for you and you need more you can probably buy it from one of the online pet supply companies at a fraction of the normal cost without going back to your dermatologist.

when you pop a zit and look closely at it, the vast majority of it is an off-white color but there is a very small portion that is slightly darker than the rest. is there a particular name for this area and why is it darker than the rest of the zit. i notice it sometimes. What is that little brown area on a zit called?

If I cut off all the hair from the members of MCR and there faces covered in zits would fans like them still?
I could tell you that NO they still wouldnt like them.
Even if people say....';OH, I would still love him if he got run over by a tow truck!'; Thats Bullsh!t! We all know alot of people both girls and guys love MCR cuz they think that the singer is HOT!
Either way...it dont matter....when kids move on to the next thing that is popular...MCR will die along with anyone who likes them now!
I mean...look at the boybands. 80% of the girls that used to like Backstreet and N'sync deny the fact that they used to go crazy for them little boybands! If I cut off all the hair from the members of MCR and there faces covered in zits would fans like them still?
yes fand would still like them. I would for sure and i know other fans would to. We dont like them cuz of their looks we love them becuase the message they give out in there songs, and how dedicated they are to their fans. With EVERY musician you are gonna get people that think they are ';hot!'; some more than others i guess, but YES we would still love them.If I cut off all the hair from the members of MCR and there faces covered in zits would fans like them still?
I don't know...would people like you still waste your time bitching and wasting your time moaning about bands you don't like? Why the hell do you waste your time with bands you hate...how about you find something you like and listen to that. I don't like MCR very much...so I don't post stupid questions about them. And I don't even know what MCR looks like, so it wouldn't make a difference to me.
for true fans, yes, they would, for those who just like them for looks, of course they wouldn't. to me, i don't see the faces of MCR when i listen to their music, just the meanings of their songs. hopefully, most people do, too.
hahaha i would XD u cant ruin gerards pretty face XDDD
It's the music that makes it, hun.
Why do you care so much about people liking MCR?
Lmao! It's the music that makes them hott. Well that's just my opinion.
i would laugh ,but still like them
exactly u can't ruin their pretty faces
as a matter of fact I would.
I like their MUSIC not their image
what would a good image be w/o the music to back it up?
It becomes extreamly annoying that so many people on here love to hate MCR. Honestly how many of you guys have sat down and listen to a full cd of theirs? Or read the lyrics and attempted to understand them, but from what i can see that may be hard for some of you. As for your question, yes I would still listen to My Chemical Romance even if they were no longer cute. It doesn't matter what they look like, I liked their music before I had ever layed eyes on them. So stop wasting your points on something you obviosly hate!
hahahha, well gerard looked like a cancer patient with his white hair, he is fuckingg retarded...
for the first time there is finally a band which u can easily relate to and i dont like the band 'cause they are cute or whatever but because they give everyone a reason to live. and hell ya i would still love them 'cause they have totally changed the way i look at my life!

I don't know if it works or not - I've never tried - but someone once told me that vinegar, when applied at night, will help it to dry up some by morning.

Buy yourself a drying lotion. I use it all the time, it's great. You put it on over night or if you're just hanging around the house and it dries the zit and disappears.

Why would my skin doctor give me ophthalmic ointment which is commonly used on dogs for my zits?
Here's the thing...
Whenever i have a huge breakout (due to a hormonal imbalance), i would go to this dermatologist in an aesthetic clinic (where they provide services like chemical peeling, botox, liposuction, collagen boost, etc) to laser on my huge zit. So every time after the doctor ';laser'; on my zit, his assistant would apply on a cream/ointment and also give some of it to me as a two day supply to be applied on the lasered zits, supposedly somekind of antibiotic/antiseptic cream i guess? I think there's a poem in there somewhere...Why would my skin doctor give me ophthalmic ointment which is commonly used on dogs for my zits?
I think this is a perfectly legit question to ask your doctor. However many meds are used in both animals and humans (after all we are in the family of animals!) My dog took the same anticonvulsant medication as many people, and when he sprained his neck he received the same stuff I have to take for arthritis. But it is a great question for the Doc.
Many medicines used by humans are also used on animals. I've had to fill prescriptions at the pharmacy for my dog. How embarrassing when they ask if---- will know how to use this.
I don't have a perfect answer for you, but I have experienced a similar situation. I take allergy medicine to reduce my itchiness which is commonly used for dogs and cats, and also used as an anti-anxiety drugs in humans.
There are many drugs that are cross-species. :) They work for us, and for other animals...yes, it's weird to be prescribed something for a different animal but if it works I wouldn't be too worried. Next time you get your prescription I would ask the pharmacist. Pharmacists, more often than not, know more about specific medications than doctors. (It's their responsibility to know, where as doctors also deal with bodies as well...not just the meds.)
Hopefully you get a clearer answer. :)
Dear young lady,
The question is what has been done about your hormone imbalance which seems to be the cause of your problem.
Those who have so far replied are quite correct in what they say regarding your treatment. I have suffered from Restless Leg Syndrome for some twenty five years and I control it by taking Alzheimer tablets, though I am not suffering from any form of dementia. I have even taken horse cough mixture when I have had a bad cough with no ill effect, though I do have to tuck my tail in now and again and I have to control my neighing as it wakes the neighbors.

How do I get rid of a huge zit with no head on it?
i have this zit on the middle of my chin. It dosen't have a head or anything!!! please help its really ugly and i want it gone!!!!! PLEASE HELPHow do I get rid of a huge zit with no head on it?
I have an acne cure that has won me the best answer three times. Each time, the person said it worked great. I'll copy and paste it below.
Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours. How do I get rid of a huge zit with no head on it?
No problem!! Glad I could be of assistance. Report Abuse
Try opening it with a pin and tab peroxide on it with a Q-tip. I have used this remedy before and it really helped me.
Ever seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding? They used windex (I think) Leave it alone! Trust me it'll get nastier and uglier if you mess with it! Just be sure to wash your face really good at night and in the morning before you put your makeup on (if you wear makeup). You'll look like you're trying to grow an octopus on your face if you mess with it too much.
Try a hot compress. It should get a whitehead soon afterwards and then lance it very carefully. Unfortunately those nasty things sort of work in their own time. Good luck.
Benzamycin
Wash with warm water than conclude with cold
try putting some toothpaste on it and let it work overnite....
had a zit on the tip of my nose and used that little trick.
Apply a hot, damp washcloth for about 30 minutes. Make sure to keep rewetting your washcloth in hot water. It will eventually make the head come out and then you can pop it.

Do you care when someone has a big zit on their face?
like do you care if youre talking to your friend and they have a HUGE red zit in the middle of their face?Do you care when someone has a big zit on their face?
Ok so im not saying this is lovely lol but so what at the end of the day you cant help it when you get spots, so why worry about someone else spots etc, if your feeling a lil freaked or disgusted by it, imagine how self conscience they are def feeling about it. And if its your friend then it shouldnt matter about spots etc, your there friend because of whats inside and not outside. Katie xDo you care when someone has a big zit on their face?
not gonna lie i sometimes do.. lol but my friends and i take care of our faces so its all good. it makes me mad when the person with the zit either obsesses over it or points out a tiny flaw on my face thats like 1/4 the size of the planet on their face..
sry if thats harsh ;)
No, because everyone knows that theres not one person that hasn't had a zit. They known how you feel so they dont really care about it or pay any attention to it. And if you act like it's not there it helps a lot.
No everybody gets zits on there face its a phase most everybody goes through. I'm sure that you friend is going to stare at it but thats a normal thing to do.wouldnt you stare at your friends when you was talking to them?
Yes i do care. I always feel bad for whom ever it is. i was cursed as a teen with bad skin but all we had was soap , witch hazel and rubbing alcohol. Now a days there are so many more options to help with this.
okay...that will definitely attract attention...but i don't care..everybody has zits, and it's a normal thing. so, i won't care..
No. They're my friend and I stick by them even if they do look funny.
No, unless it pulses or something...
no, i've gotten them too and i know they're embarrassing so i try not to look at it or act like i even notice it.
Nobody is perfect. %26lt;}:-})
When I talk to people, and want their attention.
I look them right in the eyes. %26lt;}:-})
Not really, it's not on my face! Not everyone has perfect skin.
yes its very distracting
No it's thier face not mine so i have no worry!
No. Why would I? I've had zits (I still do), and my friends don't give a rat's behind.
It can be distracting.
No. Theres no reason why I should.
no the question is do u care if some1 has a big zit on therie face?
No but if I know it bothers them I'd try and help them out with it
Ok so im not saying this is lovely lol but so what at the end of the day you cant help it when you get spots, so why worry about someone else spots etc, if your feeling a lil freaked or disgusted by it, imagine how self conscience they are def feeling about it.
%26lt;}:-})

Let me tell you.. I had a huge zit on my nose.. I tried get it ripe(zit) by steaming my face by holding a towel over my head over hot steaming water.. I tried using hot towels on my zit, that i held under the faucet... All i did was kinda cook my face, and the zit.. It looked worse then it did before i touched it.. You can't get rid of a zit, until it's ripe.. or if you mess with it that night, then the next day it might be ready to pop and all the stuff will come out.. sorry i had to tell you the truth.. :(
Please check out one of the links on my page (by clicking my icon first) as I am unable to post them here for unknown reasons. They will help. Good luck.

How do you reduce inflammation of a zit you just popped.... how do you get rid of the red quickly?
im trying to not touch ever again!!! im struggling so bad !!! AH! but how do i get rid of red spots from acne i had a few days ago?!How do you reduce inflammation of a zit you just popped.... how do you get rid of the red quickly?
Try using a tiny dab of antibiotic ointment (like neosporin)...apply it with a q-tip directly to the pimple.
Try to keep your hands as clean as possible...supplementing hand washing with something like Purell...this way, when you touch your face without thinking, there will be less bacteria. It's not a surefire solution, but it can help some. How do you reduce inflammation of a zit you just popped.... how do you get rid of the red quickly?
Ice it down and put hydrogen peroxide on it. Neosporin is good, too. It will keep it from getting infected (which also makes it red)
visine
Visine or any red-reducing eye drops. They constrict blood vessels so redness will disappear. Also, ice will help the appearence of swelling.
go to a drug store and ask for sea breeze orginal it helps try some vitamins for the acne
well i usually put coverup over the red parts of my zits ater i pop them and also wash ur face with clearskin that always helps too.
ice cubes reduce the redness. its a little uncomfortable but it works. and you're right to not keep touching it
Try putting an ice cube on it for a few seconds. Then rub a little bit of vizine. Yes the stuff for our eyes. I know it sounds weird but I read it in a magazine once and tried it and it works.
yOU shOuld put neOspOrin On it.

Whats the best way to pop a zit without scaring nor infection?
i have a zit on my for-head i want to pop it but not really sure how to.please help.thnks=]Whats the best way to pop a zit without scaring nor infection?
Its best if you just let the process finish itself. It would be a lot better if you wont pop it up, because popping it can result to infection and later leads to scarring. You can apply an ointment especially designed to care a zit.Whats the best way to pop a zit without scaring nor infection?
Use Netrogena(sp) and resist popping! I know it's hard but I've been getting more lately and popping them and I have 3 nasty scars on my face and it sucks!

squeeze them out. but there may be a temporary scar.
use something with salicyllic acid in it
Dry it out with the stuff people use for cold sores.
When zit is starts to form, you really cannot get rid of Zits. but fowllowing these steps can help reduce them. First Wash your face clean. First with warm water then finsh the cleansing with cold water. Dry it with clean towel, then DO NOT EVER TOUCH IT. touching makes it WORSE*, putting a bandage before going to bed helps, so zit doesnt touch against anything.microsoft office

Picture day is friday(ay for me right now)wednesd, and i have way tooo much zits?
i wouyld count it as thursday since its is 12 oclock pm where i live right now.not just zits, but cuts from those friggin stining wasps and bees. they puff up alot and afraid there is not enough time to get rid of that so ni wont have an ugly face in pcture day! what can get rid of zits and wasp stings fast? hrrry i have one day, and it haveto be something availible at walgreens because that is closest.
thats not all, why do i have very noticible eye wrinkles and im only 13??/ i had these wrinkles for a year !Picture day is friday(ay for me right now)wednesd, and i have way tooo much zits?
if ur 13.. who cares about picture days but i heard jessica simpson uses proactivPicture day is friday(ay for me right now)wednesd, and i have way tooo much zits?
I advise to wear coverup or foundation. If you do, it probably won't show in the photo.
Nars foundation is amazing, I have it, and it makes skin look glowy and youthful. It is kind of expensive though.
Going off on a tangent here.... Honestly... from an 18 year old standpoint though, your picture from when you were 13 is so insignificant. If you think you look bad, it doesn't really matter. And I'm sure you look TONS better than you think you do!
Anyway, if worst comes to worst and you have the cuts in the picture, just think of it as a kind of funny memory!
use cetaphil it works quick and isnt to harsh for your skin. also i suggest buying some witch hazel as a toner, it will unclog your pores. wrinkles? maybe youve been in the sun too long? i dont know how your school pictures work, but at my school they always have the option of getting the touch up pictures, they cost more but they look great. they will make your zits a lot less noticable and likely will hide your wrinkles all together. good luck and dont stress itll cause you to break out more.
remember there is always picture retake day =)
if u dont wear makeup and u want to then ask ur mom itll be ok tell her its picture day and u want to wear makeup to cover it use shiny makeup so it makes u look better
u could always go to walgreens and look for a mosquito bite gel or sumthing
and use a lotion for ur face for zits my sister did and her zits were gone and always wash ur face
Ask the school when make up day is and if you can reschedule your picture for then. Also most schools now offer retouching for a little extra money. Check if you missed that on the picture form. As for the swelling, use ice and Ibprofen.
Use zit medicine.

How do I get rid of my zit?
It is above my lip and has been buging me for days how do I get it to go away? How do I get rid of my zit?
Powder.. maybe ?How do I get rid of my zit?
if it has a head then compress it with a warm damp towel.
then take 2 q-tips and press down around it. don't squeeze it directly just go to the sides of it and kind of press down and in.
then once it has popped put rubbing alcohol on it. and then it will be fine the next day.
oh and before all this WASH YOUR HANDS.
Use spot treatment like Clean and Clear advantage spot treatment or Proactive refining mask.

Even though I wash my face and try to keep it clean I still have stupid zits! How can I control them!!??!!??!!
I can like watch them form durring the day!
They start out small at the begining of the day and by the end of the day they're a bit bigger.
Then I ice them down and try to find ways to keep them down, then I go to bed and the next morning they're bigger!
It's so annoying!
People always say icing it down before bed works!
I've tried honey, lemon juice, and a bunch of other stupid things that don't work for me and I don't want to pop them!
I just want to control them and keep them down!
Right now I have a few small ones and two big ones that you can see are getting bigger.
I just want some at home remedies to keep them down, but I want things that work, nothing like honey, or pop it.
That stuff does not work!!!Even though I wash my face and try to keep it clean I still have stupid zits! How can I control them!!??!!??!!
Eating healthily %26amp; drinking plenty of water helps.
A dermitologist specialises in treating skin problems, they would be able to help you.
Or you could go down to your local chemist and explain your situation to them, and ask them to help you choose some sort of cleanser or product that will rid you of pimples.
I've also heard dabbing abit of tea tree oil on them helps.
Excessivly washing or scrubbing your face can make them worse so keep it down to morning and night. Unless you get a product and it tells you otherwise.
If you moisurise your face, try to use a water based moisturiser. An oil based moisturiser will just add unwanted oil to your face.
Steam or heat opens your pores %26amp; on my face I use Benzac AC, you get whichever percentage of benzoyl peroxide is necessary for you. Benzoyl peroxide is usually the active ingrediant in skin cleansers that helps to treat acne.
Good luck with that!! Hope I helped. =]Even though I wash my face and try to keep it clean I still have stupid zits! How can I control them!!??!!??!!
I use Proactive as often as I shower. I shower once a day so I use it then. Getting outside a little bit each day helps too.
If you do decide to use Proactive, I wouldn't recommend using all three substances it says. The toner dries my skin out and the moisturizer makes my skin oily and therefore more pimples.
Don't wash your skin too much. Once or twice a day will do. Simple, uncolored, unscented soap and warm water can work too.
WELL ACTUALLY I DONT USE ANYTHING. BELIEVE IT OR NOT I JUST USE WATER OR JUST GET ALL OF MY EYE MAKEUP OFF. i CAN'T USE ANY STORE BOUGHT THINGS BECAUSE ALL IT DOES IS IRRITATE MY SKIN. YOU MIGHT HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. tRY NOT WASHING YOUR FACE WITH ANYTHING FOR AbOUT A WEEK AND sEE if YOU SEE anY cHANGES.
honey i know i had ur prob and now im 19 and no zits! ok listen up! use toothpaste on them before bed, if you can try tanning it kills bactirea, try birth control pills if you belive in them they'll even out your skin like theres no 2marrow! trust me!
this is a tip i got from my 14 yr old neice, she uses regular toothpaste she swears it works. but i'd say go to a dermatologist.

Clearasil - it is really good - I am not sure how many types they have - but this one comes in a tube and says within 3 days it will clear your spots up!!!!!
or you could try toothpaste - thats dries spots out quickly as well.
Tea tree oil, or witch hazel are both great. Toothpaste works well overnight (honestly!!), unless you're happy to walk around with it on during the day!. You don't need to look for brand named stuff, but a witch stick is available - we used to have one.
dont use toothpaste if u do ur asking to clog your pores up and ur asking for scaring. clearacil ultra works great. or zeno is the only thing that clears up by the next day. costs 149.00 at walgreens but it's worth it.
i tried most of them and they dont really work so just hope 4 the best and buy some good consealer
Use Liz Earle cleanse and polish cleanser every night to remove all make up..This will make your skin beatifully soft. The LIz Earle moisturiser is also very good. Then if you use Bare Escentuals pure minerals foundation every day you should not get any zits as the mineral foundation has zinc in it which is very good for your skin. I have recently had an all over allergy (spots everywhere) The only place that I had no spots was on my face and I am certain it is because of the zinc based foundation.
Both available on the QVC web-site.
Good luck with the wedding.
Zapzyt cream (you can get it at walmart or walgreens) also Avon's blemish control stick. I've tried many acne products but these are the 2 i like best. hope this helps
well there is no instant healer, but clearisil on your face a few days before your wedding might help. Be sure to clean your face EXTRA good in the week before your wedding. Congratulations!
Kiehl's blue astringent spot treatment.....it's the best!
put tooth past on it the night before or clinique do a good stop cream but cant remember what it is called
Zeno. It gets rid of zits really quicky but its a decent chunk of change. congrats on getting married!!! hope you dont have to use it :)
Make a paste with tea tree oil and yeast, dab it on the zit and cover it with a small Band-Aid. You should do it overnight, your skintends to repair itself while you sleep. Good luck!
nivea visage young, they sell it in boots for about for puonds or something!
I have been using Jamaican bay rum from when i was a teenager and its really good everyone thinks i wear foundation but its all natural... it smells quite strong but it works quickly and cleans your face really well
I have/had loads of spots... they suddenly started to go when i started to use clean and clear moisturiser.
well witch hazel works well as an astringent...and clean and clear persagel works well..just keep your face clean and use the witch hazel!! good luck on your marriage!
Try MiEssence Purifying Blemish Gel, it's amazing, 100% certified organic and edible! gets rid of spots quicker than anything else! Not available in shops though, You have to visit the website, it's so cool and easy to use! Hope that helps!
MINT TOOTHPASTE.
toothpaste over night. It works great.
tcp, the best and cheapest cure for spots, jus dap it on a few times a day and before bed, they will be healed in no time
Witch Hazel Gel helps cool and soothe: it closes pores and clears oiliness. Also you might want to purchase a facial scrub which will get rid of grease and impurities that lead to spots. Boots should be able to provide you with both of these.
An excellent remedy for pimples or acne-prone skin can be made by mixing 1 teaspoon ground cloves with 2 tablespoons fullers earth and ice water. When you wash your face, use sugar to scrub it, at least once a day, for two weeks to rid yourself of acne. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.

Do you know of any lotions I can use on my face that will not cause zits? Never had a problem w acne til now?
I'm 19 and I have never had a problem with acne or zits until now. I put lotion on my face every morning after I shower. I don't know why that could cause it though because it is specifically targeted for the face, and is designed to not clog the pores or anything. I've also been using it for about 5 to 6 years and haven't had a problem with it yet. I've been noticing more zits for about the past year which is very unusual since I've never had a problem with acne.
So do you know of any other lotions I may be able to use for the face that does not cause zits and keeps the pores open and clean?
Do you know of any lotions I can use on my face that will not cause zits? Never had a problem w acne til now?
my sister used proactive and she got more zits
but i use the clinique gell moisterizer and i dont get zits, it feels very light and clean, its the only lotion i useDo you know of any lotions I can use on my face that will not cause zits? Never had a problem w acne til now?
Dermalogica is expensive but it is very good and lasts a while. I would recommend some sort of exfoliant as well, and maybe taking pro biotic capsules.
Anyone could give you advice that could let you ruin your face. Since you have never had zits before, visit a dermatologist. You could also have some kind of allergy.
cetaphil face lotion is made for people with acne problems so its very very gentle and light but doesnt have any ingredients that cure or aggervate acne. also i swear by cetaphil face wash.
produts r different depending on the person skin.
so u can take a risk or you can simply cleanse ur face with washing foam. atleast 5 times a week.
gell can also work to!

i swear by proactive...

How can I get rid of a zit without popping it in a day?
You can camouflage it with some Visine. Just drop some on it every few hours. It will reduce the size of the blood vessels feeding it, so it won't appear so red. Best wishes. How can I get rid of a zit without popping it in a day?
I haven't tried this yet but I hear there's a new product on the market that might can help clear a pimple in 24 hours. It's called Zeno and you can get at any drug store.
Hope this helpsHow can I get rid of a zit without popping it in a day?
Some one told me to get a slice of cucumber and stick it on the pimple and then cover it with a bandaid for 4 hrs max.
Also, you could put ice on it for about 10-20 mins
Or hot water which calms it down
I hope ive helped.
before you go to bed tonight put toothpaste on it let it dry the toothpaste will dry out the zit
fersh lemon juice to it 3 times a day. Usually shrinks it overnight to where it isn't noticeable, but you can't get rid of one in one day....sorry...hope it helped.
Aspirin works well for me. I take a tab of aspirin crush it up, and add a drop or two of water to make it a paste. Put it on the problem areas and It will make it a lot better. My sister had a really really bad one and did this, it wasbarely noticeable later that day and the next morning it was almost gone, barely noticeable.
Well i am not sure about in a day, but try using a face mask the night before. And wash your face with a grainy clenser, before putting on the mud mask or what ever kind of mask you put on. And you can put tooth paste on the zit at night to reduce the side. Also put cover up during day so the zit will blend in with your face more. Try washing your face every night with a product and keep a routine of it and hopefully it will eliminate zits. Hope that helps!

How to get rid of this HUGE zit?!?!?
I have this HUGE zit on my face and it's makin me crazy!!!! I would really like 2 get rid of it!!! And FAST! Is there any type of home remedy or even creame that I can get that will get rid of it? Plus what are some nice moisterizers and face cleanser and all that junk to get my face 2 b flawless? How to get rid of this HUGE zit?!?!?
don't touch your face with your hands!!!! That is the number one biggie. My mom is a facialist, and i have acne. DONT USE PROACTIVE!! That has an ingrediant that speeds up the process, and can fasten wrinkling and damage. Use something like cellix-c or pevonia. They help A LOT! Don't tweeze out zits when they are red. Tweeze after a few days when the white head sticks out. try bunching the skin area, and squeezing the sides of the zits, a few times. it should squueze out like paste. (I know, eww.) Also, when it is developing, just the red bump and the night after tweezing, put a dab of mint toothpast and sleeping with it on. Wash it off in the morning. Exercing DOES make you brake out, BUT IN A GOOD WAY!!! The sweat cleans out your pours. Also, only wash your face 1-2 times per day. OCD with washing your face is unhealthy. Take zinc pills or tablets. they help rid of acne. Cleansing with a cottonpad with witchhazel helps a lot, too.
XxxFreeMasonGirlxxXHow to get rid of this HUGE zit?!?!?
first put ice on the zit. a zit is mainly a small pore that is clogged with bacteria. basically if you have a large one, it is more aggitated and swollen then regulars. putting ice on it will decrease swelling therefor emaking it look smaller. if that doesn't make it go away, put a small dab of toothpaste on the zit. put a bandaid over it while you sleep, and take it off in the morning.
best answer?
too much face cleansers can increase this outbreak. just take some soap (liquid is best) dont use water. apply directly to it. wait 1 min so it sets in. then wash off with water. repeat through out day. it will eventually dry out.
use ice :) and get every thing joey its a great line

mix salt with water and get a cotton bud/tissue (wateva) and dab it on the zit for like 5 minutes and the redness should go down :) i hope it helps!
DO NOT POP IT!!! I did that and now I sorta have a scar.
U should use the new Neutrogena Wave! It clears up ur face in TWO DAYS!!!
Just use some consealer. It wont make it go away but it will make it clear.
Pop it and clean it with noxema. OR put toothpaste on it and sleep. Drink water too!

put some on and sleep wiht it there
DONT TOUCH IT AND GO TO AN ESTHETITIAN ASAP

How can I get rid of a zit?
Don't say washing my face, because I already do that.
Anyway, I have this huge zit on my face, that is like excruciatingly painful, really red, and definitely infected, how can I get rid of it without popping it?
By the way, I'm not overreacting about this, it actually is HUGE.How can I get rid of a zit?
well there's tea tree oil which is a tiny and powerful bottle. It really is awesome.Try it. Where did i get not to sure but ask at the pharmacy they'll tell you.How can I get rid of a zit?
i get those sometimes they are really painful. first of all. DO NOT TOUCH IT OR TRY TO POP IT!!!! that just makes it a million times worse. try as hard as you can to not let the oils on your fingers come in contact with it because it just causes it to be worse. it is important to wash your face with a good facial cleanser but since you already do that... clean%26amp;clear makes a cream with 10% benzoyl peroxide called Persa-gel 10. clean your face really well and then apply this cream as directed and it works AMAZING. also you could use some sort of facial toner. i like Neutrogena oil-free. but if you don't do anything with it... if you don't touch it or aggravate it at all in any way they go away in 2-3 days. hope i helped!
Hot compress
if it's yellow too put a sterile needle in the center to drain the bacteria
hot compress (again)
Acne wash it's needed to dry out the acne
alcohol
and spot treat it with acne cream.
It won't heal over night but this is the proper method unless you want to scar try toothpaste (don't try it).
Toothpaste is not for acne.
get proactive the refining mask and it works and put alchahol on it
it works reallly good (I did it and I had like 4 and they were really innfected and it worked) first get a cotton ball or some sort of pad and put alchahol on it and then once it is dry use the refining mask.
put it on before bed.
i know you said not to say washing your face, but my dermatologist says to wash my face with a soap with at least 10% benzoyle peroxide, then use a cream such as retinae, eruthamiacin or cleosine, all three of which require a perscription, and also chlorine and vitamin D help also, so go out swimming in a pool and get some sun. D:
go with the tooth paste thing! it WORKS!
but my improved method, which honestly has failed me once out of like, 45 times, is dab peroxide on the zit with a q-tip AFTER washing your face with warm water, let it dry, use the peroxide, then put toothpaste on it and sleep. hope i helped.

it really works :]
trust me you can find it at any drug store really and the price verries but it's ususally like 6 or 7 $$
hope i helpedd :]
I feel ya, that totally happened to me once. And I had thought those cartoons were exaggerating. You could try leaving it alone, using a facial, or getting a dermatologist perscription? Those take a long time to go away no matter what you do.
toothpaste! no really, put it on at bed time. it's supposed to soothe it
then wait untill you see the white, and rub a hot towel on it so it will pop.
put a warm compress (a hot, wet washcloth works) on it - that should bring the zit up to the surface faster and put benzoyl peroxide on it.
I would pop it. And then wash it out.
hmmh.... zit cream!?
sleep with tooth paste on it!

Please tell me what is the relationship between a cold and a boil (zit, cyst)?
I have this (cyst) that has suddenly showed up. They gave me a 7 day supply of an antibiotic. 7 days later I still have it and they asked me if I had a cold recently. Which I thought I was going to get but never did. I forgot to ask the doctor what does a cold have to do with this. They sent a culture to see what it is. So what does a cold have to do with my sore????Please tell me what is the relationship between a cold and a boil (zit, cyst)?
Well,
You probably just got a zit naturally if your a teen and got a cold around the same time. Are you enbarrassed about the zit?
If so, sciencist have proven that stress can cause the following :
- Rashes
- Swellings
- Bad grades
- Low Self-esteem/depression
- And, If you have some type of illness, embarrassement will make it worse or won't let it heal.
Hope I helped!

How do I get rid of dark scars on my chin that were caused by zits???
I don't normally get zits, but recently I've had a few. They're all on my chin and when they go away... it seems like they dont? Because they leave a dark-ish scar (as if they were there). I can usually cover it up with make-up but I rather find a way to clear it up-- I am not used to not having clear skin and it is driving me nuts! Its been there for a while so I doubt it'll clear up on its own. What can I do to make them go away? What cremes or etc should I use? Thanks guys in advance. How do I get rid of dark scars on my chin that were caused by zits???
Gentle exfoliating when you cleanse followed by an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) toner is generally recommended to help cells turn over and clear up these kinds of marks. Don't freak out--they're not permanent.
Here is a link to a couple of Neutrogena products that fit the bill. I use ProActive Solution, which also has the same kind of thing, but if you don't have an ongoing acne problem, the Neutrogena products will be fine for a short term solution.

What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly zits.
Before trying any treatment, I suggest you read this informational source that listed the most effective acne treatments available:

P.S. I also know someone who used to suffer from severe acne for 14 YEARS and finally got rid of it completely. She's sharing her story at her site:

How do people keep their hair in their face all the time and not get zits/acne/pimples?
I keep my hair in my face 24/7 but I pull it up when I go to bed. I've noticed zits/acne/pimples there. I was wondering how do people keep from getting zits/pimples/acne when they keep their hair i the face all the time? I mean like covering your eye and stuff. How do people keep their hair in their face all the time and not get zits/acne/pimples?
some people have more oily skin than others.
both my best friend and i have hair that is in our faces (bangs)
and i get acne all the time, but her skin stays smooth. How do people keep their hair in their face all the time and not get zits/acne/pimples?
It depends on your skin type. some people have oily skin and others dry skin.
I, for example, only get pimples when it's that time of the month. But never at any other time.
It may be that you are just more prone to pimples. Try buying a face wash that's made for your skin type and wash your face when you wake up in the morning and before going to bed.
I hope this helps...
It may have to do with the hair products and shampoo you use.
Wash your face very well when your in the shower.
don't put a lot of products in your hair. that could be causing the acne.

I got my period yesterday, and this morning I woke up with like 7 new zits on my face. Help!!?
So, like I said I got my period yesterday, and this morning when I woke up I had a bunch of those ugly little under the skin pimples. Usually when I get my period I get like one pimple and that is it. Normally, I have really good skin and I only get a pimple rarely, but why do you think I got so many last night? It's just weird because I had no pimples when i went to bed, and I washed my face and everything.
Also any tips for clearing that up and preventing it in the future that would be so helpful!! Thanks.I got my period yesterday, and this morning I woke up with like 7 new zits on my face. Help!!?
Breakouts are very common when you're on your period. Trust me, I get pimples all the time when I'm on mine. Really all you can do to clear it up is drink lots of water, wash your face twice daily, and exercise. If I get really noticeable pimples, I put a dab of toothpaste on them at night before I go to bed. And in the morning, they are noticeably reduced and less red. You can also try homemade masks with an egg base. Those work really well. Or you could dip a cotton ball in salt water and hold it over the pimple for 2 to 3 minutes. That also works really well.I got my period yesterday, and this morning I woke up with like 7 new zits on my face. Help!!?
it's completely normal to breakout when you have your period. when i get my period i usually get huge whiteheads like all over, and then about 4 months i started drinking water, and nothing but water and i haven't had any pimples ever since. so i would try drinking water, and eating healthy might help too :) hope i helped.
I don't know how to prevent it, but to make your skin start to feel cleaner again you should mix 1/4 cup of plain oatmeal with a teaspoon of baking soda and enough water to make it feel like a paste. Just apply it to your whole face and keep it on until it hardens [about 10-15 minutes] then rinse it with warm water. it definantly helps.
It might be happening because all the hormones in your body are changing while you change and sometimes this happens when you eat junk food and don't think your going to get a break out but sometime that junk food will come back andhaunt you lol..
But it's normal..
Don't worry about
Try a Egg mask it's natural and cheap.

Usually when you have your period you tend to breakout
Try dabbing some rubbing alcohol on your pimples to dry them out. And don't pick at them.

Why don't most sites allow people to make avatars that are fat or have zits?
Isn't that how lots of people are? What if they want their avatar to represent them and they want to include their zits or missing tooth or their chunky thighs? It's not nice to not allow ugly people to display their ugly in their avatars.
Don't you agree? Why don't most sites allow people to make avatars that are fat or have zits?
Real ugliness comes from deep within an individual~~~its not an easy thing to hide, because usually once you speak, people realise~~~and you have just spoken!!!Why don't most sites allow people to make avatars that are fat or have zits?

its is not discrimination -_-
nobody in their right mind WANT to look ugly...
if you want to...then photoshop it, or upload a real pic.
Copy your avatar and paste it to Paint or Photoshop, then do whatever you want..
loooooooooool -i dunno why,but my avatar shouldnt look like this,it should hav darker hair and prettier eyes like me-
Young lady, If I knew the answer to that I'd be webmaster.

My Siberian Husky has small bumps around her eyes that almost look like zits. Anyone know what this could be?
She is 9 months old and has always had red eyes with lots of drainage coming from them. A few months ago, the vet diagnosed her with Conjunctivitis and gave us drops which cleared them up for a month or so. Now, she has 2 or 3 tiny white bumps on the outter rims of each of her eyes that resemble warts or zits. Does anybody know what this could be? We want to try to find out on our own before we spend a fortune at the vet. Thanks so much for anyone who has any information! My Siberian Husky has small bumps around her eyes that almost look like zits. Anyone know what this could be?
some dogs litterally get ';zits'; my pug does on a regular basis i would just keep the area clean and if it gets worse seek a vets advice. My Siberian Husky has small bumps around her eyes that almost look like zits. Anyone know what this could be?
cherry eye mayby
Maybe there is somthign in your house that is bothing her
Any plants in or around your house that may be causing this problem?
Has she been groomed lately? If so, maybe the groomer used some drops in her eyes before the bath and she's had a reaction. Or the shampoo didn't agree with her.
Hope she feels better soon!
sounds like little cysts...they need to be removed by the vet...just imagine if you had it on your eye ( not to be rude) but i wonder if they hurt?...sorry would take her to the vet...good luck...

I have my nipples pierced and i get this weird white zit-like thing on one of them. is this normal?
I have had my nipples pierced for 5 months now. One of them has healed completely normal. The other one however gets white zit-like bumps on it. I can pop it just like a zit and white puss comes out. it reminds me EXACTLY like a zit but on my piercing. It doesnt hurt, and it is not red. Is this normal?I have my nipples pierced and i get this weird white zit-like thing on one of them. is this normal?
I have my nipples pieced, and this personally has not happened to me. I would say, though, that if it isn't red or infected that it is fine. The people than answered and said go to the hospital don't know what they are talking about. I'd say use antibacterial soap and, if possible, some H2Ocean on it. If it reoccurs after doing these things I would suggest going to a professional piercer and ask them about it. Because they are professional they should be able to guide you in the right direction.
I hope i helped!!I have my nipples pierced and i get this weird white zit-like thing on one of them. is this normal?
It's probably a follicular cyst. I had one of those right next to my nose ring for several months. It eventually went away (actually, it popped one day. It was gross.) When I asked my piercing place about it, they said it was just my body trying to heal the piercing because our bodies recognize that there's not supposed to be a hole where we put the piercings. I don't know if your place would say the same thing, but it's worth asking. I remember they told me to be faithful with the saltwater soak.
Anyway, google ';follicular cyst'; along with ';piercing'; and see if the info you find matches your symptoms.
EEEEEEWWWWWW.
Yeah, do like the other person said, hospital.
i would go to the hospital. IDK why people pierce their nipples tho.

I am 33 years old and my skin is constantly breaking out into zits. What could the problem be?
I am 33 years old and my skin is constantly breaking out into zits. What could the problem be? I wash my face in basis soap and use oil of olay body wash. My doctor has me taking the drug minocycline but it doesnt seem to be helpingI am 33 years old and my skin is constantly breaking out into zits. What could the problem be?
I recognized your problem immediately. Although I congratulate you on having a skin routine, you are using the wrong product by using the Oil of Olay body wash. It's important to remember that not all brands are meant for all markets. Our skin changes from the teens to twenties to thirties and certain brands work best with certain life-phases of our skin.
Because of your age, your skin is going through changes. The product you are using is loaded with perfumes and emollients which are clogging your pores. It is too heavy for your skin. I suggest that you remain on your doctor's regiment but also change your cleansing product to an alphahydroxy based cleanser. It will speed up the rejuvenation process in your skin.
The acne you are experiencing is dead skin cells laying dormant and the alphahydroxy exfoliates the cells. Also try a product or acne medicine which contains salicylic acid 1%. It is a drying agent which helps clear up acne blemishes and breakouts while exfoliating skin cells.
Since your skin sounds like it tends to be oily, I recommend that you make sure you are using only gels or lotions in the other skin care products you use. Foundations should be oil free and water based.I am 33 years old and my skin is constantly breaking out into zits. What could the problem be?
if ur problem started recently,,u should seriously go to an endocrine specialist.. might be ur adrenals..do a simple hormone level test
Here's an excerpt from the article I found below. It could be stress:
';When the body is under stress, the secretion of adrenaline and noradrenaline from the adrenal glands is stepped up. It is quite well known that the adrenal gland is stimulated to produce adrenaline when the body is being prepared for 鈥榝ight or flight鈥?
Production of these hormones is controlled by the brain. They are secreted along with androgens, which stimulate the production of sebum, which in turn encourage the development of acne.';microsoft office

I got my eyebrows waxed for the first time and it gave me zits?
ok my eyebrows look great its just that i have bangs so as soon as my eyebrows finished getting waxed i put my bangs down and then i put my hat on, and my forehead started to feel itchy so when i got home i took off my hat and i had like ten embarrasing zits!!!?? is this common and how do i get rid of ittttttttttttt do i just use a cleanser or what??? and i do not want to stop waxing my eyebrows it looks so good now.....I got my eyebrows waxed for the first time and it gave me zits?
Its from ripping those hairs out with the wax. It will go away. If you continue to get your brows waxed, your skin will get used to it. I suggest keeping up with it. Nicely manicured eyebrows are the key to a beautiful face. Seriously. Any makeup artist will tell you that. Having nicely shaped brows allow you to wear less makeup and look naturally beautiful.
How many times have you seen a beautiful woman but something was off about her. She looked weird maybe. A lot of the pretty women from the 80s have this. Massive bushy unkempt brows.
Its kind of like getting bikini bumps from shaving down there. Eventually your hair and skin will get used to the shaving and one won't get them anymore. Same with waxing.
Keep it up, it will get better. BTW, I doubt they are zits, they are more likely an irritated ingrown hair. Try to scratch it or pop it, and you will just irritate it more. Leave it be. It will go away.I got my eyebrows waxed for the first time and it gave me zits?
omg! that happened to me to!!!!
i just continued washing my face like normal and they eventually went away. my bangs covered it though so it wasnt to big of a deal for me * *try not to scratch them even though they itch
There's an oil that you need to put on immediately after waxing. I wax and get bumps after wards unless I use an oil and sometimes a first aid creme.
Here is one http://www.amazon.com/After-Waxing-Body-鈥?/a>
This is very common. I get them when the wax is too hot. I recommend letting your eyebrows breathe right after and stay cool, don't start running.
Shave your head!

My forehead is breaking out How do I get rid of all the zits?
My forehead is really bad right now. I use proactiv but a lot of the time i feel like it doesnt work even tho EVERYONE says its the best and it works and EVERYONE recommends it. is there any other way to get rid of zits fast LIKE NOW. any overnight stuff i can use. any home remedie stuff. Im new to all the makeup stuff so should I use coverup...foundation...both. Ive been using coverup but its not fully covering them up it just dulls them PLZ PLZ PLZ HELPMy forehead is breaking out How do I get rid of all the zits?
Well I went to the doctor and it can actually caused by an allergy. So if you have allergies this may be the key. I sldo use acne free severe which is stronger then proactiv and is generic. You can find it at walgreens. My forehead is breaking out How do I get rid of all the zits?
go to walmart or your local drug store and get the biore skin care line. especially Biore triple action astringent. these work great AND fast. pluse the best part, they are cheap. personally i hate proactive, it never worked for me and cost way too much. biore cleared up my skin pretty good. as for covering them up, i wash my face, apply clean %26amp; clear oil free acne moisturizer, then apply a little bit of neutrogena healthy glow sheers liquid concealer. after that i use a green powder concealer and a LITTLE bit of mary-kate and ashley gold shimmer. trust me, this covers ANY marks pretty good. it's all cheap too. good luck.
neutrogena 8 hour pads...they work really fast and well for me
i have the same problem as you, but the truth is it's different for everyone. we all breakout for different reasons and we all have to treat our breakouts differently. for me, i use acne free and lemon juice. it works pretty well. also avoide eating greasy food and too much sugar. i once read in an article that the breakouts on your forehead are caused by your diet and the food you eat. but if you don't have time to go to the store and buy acne free, use fresh lemon juice, i promise it'll work!
Good Luck
xoxoxoxo
This may sound weird but..
toothpaste it works. (I actually have toothpaste on my pimples right now)
I leave it on all night ( extreme clean aquafresh)
apply directly on pimples, it dries them out.
I also use ponds cold cream daily.
drink plenty of water. Goodluck! it works for me!
Use any kind of mask! Use that 3 times a week and exfoliate (apricot scrub) Or use toothpaste which helps but drys out your skin like crazy!!!! Try not applying make-up!
go to ur doctor, i am not kidding, they have medicine better than proactive, my brothers face used to be covered with pimples... now it is almost clear.. it is not too expensive either
Everyone may say proactive works, but it sometimes depends. I know some people where it worked awesomely and some it didn't help at all. What I would say is get a different facial wash and whatever you do do not pick at your zits!
Diet, stress, and hormones are the leading causes of acne. Judging from your question, I imagine you're not taking care of yourself in any of these areas. My suggestion is to speak with a physician. Chances are you will find a better answer from a professional than you will find here.
proactiv doesnt work on everyone's skin type so try clean and clear it works really good on my skin! try not to put too much makeup over ur zits because you dont want to clog up your pores so try bare minerals that way it wont clog up your pores. overnight solutions are masks.. try any mask! i hope i helped!
Foundation actually makes it worse. It covers it up but it makes it worse. Try washing your face in the morning AND at night. Right before bed. Right when you wake up. If you get into the routine the zits will start going away. And btw the zits might not be because of your face and like washing it. Puberty. Yuckk!

Would You Putt Human Saliva on your face to get rid of pimples/zits?
Would you every put Human Saliva on your face to get rid of the pimples, zits, black heads?
I noticed during my sleep I droll then i noticed when i whipped the dry/ tacky saliva off my face was smooth and clean from zits pimples and black heads. So i tried it with my friends *lol don't ask* they noticed the same thing I was researching that Saliva has many bacteria to kill/devolve the yeast and ext.
So would you ever use Human Saliva just to clean your pours and have soft skin with no pimples/zits and blackheads?
I know I would and I do and I have great skin!Would You Putt Human Saliva on your face to get rid of pimples/zits?
No.Would You Putt Human Saliva on your face to get rid of pimples/zits?
actually, there is a new study out by the university of minnesota that has found human saliva to contain a bacterial enzyme which has been shown to STOP and prevent acne! So kudus to you asker! And boo to the response that won, people never want to believe in something ';gross';.

Very good shahinne. I too discovered the saliva trick.
In my opinion, many skin problems from pimples to wrinkles are due to follicle mites.
I found the saliva drives these worm-like beasts out of the pores.
Every other mammal on earth cleans its hair and skin with saliva. Get a clue. Report Abuse
If its my own saliva than yes...but I wouldnt use someone elses
