Im a 15 year old girl.My face is very clear, but suddenly a huge zit came up overnight. I have to find a way to get rid of it by Friday night because I am finally meeting my boyfriends parents at dinner.
PLEASE HELP ME ASAPHow do I get rid of this huge zit?
Don't pop it unless it there is a white head. If there is a white head, pop it with q-tips after washing that area with warm water.
Anyways, mix white toothpaste with a drop or two of either rice or apple vinegar for 15 minutes. Wash it off with water. You should notice that the pimple shrunk. If that doesn't work, apply eggs. Mix egg whites and yolk or just use yolk. Apply it on the pimple for 15 minutes and wash it off with warm water. That will shrink pimples no matter what. You can throw away the remaining eggs or cook it. If you want to keep it, keep it in the fridge. How do I get rid of this huge zit?
Ok, Take a wash cloth, and wet it with REALLY hot water, this may be hot, depending on how well your ';Ringed it out'; and place it on your face until it gets cold. This should tighten your pores. After that, Take your thumbs and place one each side, and pop it, this hurts a little bit, but only for a second and the wash cloth should help. After the zit is popped put some peroxide on it, and let it sit. When you wake up in the morning, there should be a scab, or completely gone. If its not, it should be gone in time for dinner! Hope this helps!
Neosporin is recommended, poping a zit may leave a scar, never has for me but it is possible.
the guy below me is right, toothpaste sometimes works, but sometimes it doesnt, i suggest mine first, then the toothpaste.
first is your zit a cystic pimple (meaning that it's a bump and it hurts when you press it and you can't see any white puss at the tip)?
if it is a cystic zit, then i urge you not to touch it at all. these take forever to go away and if you don't want it to come back in the same spot, then don't touch it even though it is hard not to.
if there is a white tip, then it's probably not a cystic pimple. first drink copious amounts of water to flush your system of anything that might contribute to the pimple. change your pillow case. try rubbing cucumber slices on it, but it will probably not work as quickly as possible. try steaming your face to open pores.
i can't really offer advice unless you post a pic of the zit, so i can see how severe the pimple is.
whatever you do, do not use TOOTHPASTE. i'm telling you from my experience, it burned my nose and left a scar. however the top layer of the skin peeled off and left my skin sort of smooth, but unless you want to see your bf's parents with a burned nose then DONT.
PS. clean and clear products won't work quick enough. don't use a daily scrubber because you might aggrivate it more. cucumber is really good because it soothes the skin. you can also try other home remedies such as tea tree oil which i've heard works wonders. i would rely more on home remedies right now, in fear that over the counter products might make it worse, especially if you products with other acne products.
well let's see....first go to the store and go by Clean and Clear you can get it anywhere at any store pretty much. Put it on the moment you get it at that one spot...say you put it on now like at 5:00pm than put it on again at 9:00pm AFTER YOU TAKE A SHOWER THE SECOND TIME example....then take a shower and rub your whole face with Dove soup(best soap to use of face) and...then in the morning put on the Cean and Clear again...then at around 1 put it on again....
clean and clear is an acne cream that works fantastic for me, i have clean skin all the time, because of it. ^^
don't pop it, it will leave a scap and most likely leave a scare and might eget infected..it's better not to pop it.
Before you go to bed put a pea sized amount of toothpaste on it (no-one has to know this way), the toothpaste will dry the skin really quickly and all the redness and crap in the spot will be sucked out.
Wash the tootpaste off in the morning and you will see the results for yourself.
Or you could spend money on Clearasil etc but there's no need as the toothpaste trick has worked for centuries.
Give it a go and then you can mark me as the best answer.
alright one way is to of course use some skin lotion or acne solution wipes/spray to help wear the zit down
or you could use my old remedy of toothpaste. just smother toothpaste on the zit at night and when you wake up it should be gone little by little but i warn uif you do this dont let ur face touch hot water the morning after you put toothpaste on ur face or else other huge zits come.
Regularly apply an ice pack to the affected area. It helps to reduce the swelling and redness and shrink the inflammation.
Slice a raw potatoe and rub it on the affected area. The vitamins reduce the redness and breaks down the bacteria causing the acne.

you may want to try something natural since it's less harssh yet effective.
dont pop it inless it turns into a white head
just keep your face clean and put acne cream on it...
it should go down soon
if you try to pop it and it bleeds then it will turn into a big nasty scab that is worse then a zit.
when ever i get zit i always put this home remedy on it if you would like it i will tell you i get a banana peal and put it on my head for an hour
Get this stuff called daily pore cleanser by clean and clear it works great.
tea tree oil
pop it
1. Do not touch or pop the pimple. It will only make the pimple more obvious and risk infection and scarring. Instead, take up the following routine, twice a day, until it disappears.
2. Wash your hands thoroughly before you begin to touch your face.
3. Wash your face gently but thoroughly with a mild, medicated soap and warm water.
* The water shouldn't feel hot, and lukewarm is a little too cool.
4. Lemon Juice rubbed on the pimple also helps it dry out faster.
5. Also, get a washcloth and lay it under hot/ very warm water and put it on your face, to open pores, then rub an ice cube all over your face to close the pores, this helps if you wake up during the night and you find your face to be oily, do this however many times you want.
6.
* Do not use a washcloth, as the scrubbing action could pick up and distribute bacteria to other parts of your face. It is best to use your hands.
* Wash for about 30 seconds.
7. Pat your skin dry with a towel.
8. Apply a benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid topical cream on the pimple. If the spot is under the surface of the skin and hurts to the touch, use benzoyl peroxide. Salicylic Acid should work well for all other acne spots.
9. After topical treatment is dry, apply a basic face moisturizer (preferably allergy-tested, fragrance free, and oil free). Without moisturizing, the skin around the pimple can dry and irritate your skin, possibly making the pimple more inflamed and noticeable. Some contain a mild sunscreen, which is often recommended with some acne washes and medications.
10. Cover the pimple with medicated concealer (optional).
11. Learn how to prevent acne in the first place, so that you stop that next monster pimple before it even starts.
12. Good luck!
[edit] Tips
* Wear sunblock (oil-free) when you go out on a sunny day. Since pimples are raw skin, sunburn will only make it worse.
* Hands off your face! Do not touch or pick at your spot, this will not help it to go away faster.
* Homeopathic alternatives include tea tree oil, baking soda paste (mix with a little water, apply and let dry), and witchhazel.
* you should try putting ice on it for like 20 mins to help shrink it or go in a clorine filled pool it will dry out the pimple.
[edit] Warnings
* 2.5% to 5% Benzoyl-Peroxide Solutions are sufficient; 10% or higher can irritate the skin and exacerbate the problem.
* Do not use rubbing alcohol. It will sting like crazy and dry and irritate your skin.
* Do not cover your pimple with make-up, as this will trap oil and dirt. (unless the make-up is medicated/approved by your doctor)
* You should cleanse, gently exfoliate, and moisturize your skin twice daily. Go to an expert for a skin consultation to find out what strength of soap and clarifying lotion you should be using for your skin type.
* Benzoyl-Peroxide Solutions cause drying underneath your first layer of skin which may take away the zits but will leave dry and irritable skin underneath which can lead to itching and possibly may even give you a rash.
