For starters, you need to calm down. I don't know why you think people with red hair are ugly. There are many people out there with red hair that are beautiful...so stop beating yourself up. Zits come with age, everyone deals with them at one point or another. Hygeine is important, but not entirely the cause for acne. If it is problematic please refer to a dermatologist who can guide you in eliminating them safely and effectively. By the sound and spelling in your plea you seem to be very young and easily influenced by what others may think of you. You will learn in time it doesn't matter what others think...it matters what YOU THINK. You didn't do the best in describing why you are so desperate in ';looking good.'; So to give you a generalized tip...first, take a shower! If you do well with a blow dryer, try straightening your hair with a comb/brush and medium heat. If you are naturally straight haired, scrunch your hair and use light mousse to keep its hold. This will give your hair a bit of body. Next when applying makeup remember to keep it neutral-especially if you are a rookie at applying it. If you are fair skinned use lighter shades of color. If you have blue eyes use light blue or pink eyeshadow, but keep it light. If you want to go a little more deep use amber or brown tones. Do NOT use red lipstick! There is a wonderful lipgloss by Revlon called ';colorstay overtime sheer';. The color is ';sheer champagne #870.'; This is a beautiful shade that is complementary to most everyone, and will not leave you looking like a mistress of the night. As far as clothing goes, keep it cool and keep it comfortable. Please do not go out looking like a tramp. Women who dress scantilly usually only find themselves in situations where the people around them are looking for one thing alone. Be respectful to yourself, and dress like you have purpose. Jeans always look good! They are versatile, and can match anything! Please wear your glasses. I have a friend who DRIVES without her glasses because she is afraid of looking geeky. um okay what was the point of you telling us that you had zits? get some proactiv or wash your face more and maybe that will get rid of them =) and for clothes, you can pretty much wear anything lol maybe a navy blue sweater will look good on you. your hair color doesn't really affect what you can wear haha so just do what you want =] you don't really have to put on make-up to look good. but if you want to start using makeup, just practice when you're home or something. it takes a little getting used to.. and it might look weird or bad at first, but you just have to practice. cuz i have to admit, when i started using makeup, it didnt look very good =P but yeah it's better now. i hope i helped =]
edit-- oh yah if you were wondering which places to shop, then i would suggest these. Forever 21 for cheap stuff.. I dunno why, but I'm picturing American Eagle for you. uhh.. yeah okay. i like nordstrom too, B.P. has nice stuff for like teens.

If you look decent you don't need to change anything. You can ask your parents or a friend to tell you how to apply makeup. If this is for a guy or guys they are not right for you if they only look for perfect hair and great clothes. All that matters should be how beautiful you are on the inside!!! My sister has glasses and she was very beautiful before she got them but she still looks like a rockstar!!!
