(10 points best answer)Does stress worsen zits?

Ok so it seems like every time I am under a lot of pressure weather it would be a huge test for school or a big track meet or going on a huge date and trying to get a guy to like me, it seems like my face always breaks out like crazy. Once it breaks out a lot , it eventually clears up but it takes a while and only break out like that when I am under a lot of stress. Is this true? Is there anything I can do to help it stop?

Any tips or anything that can help prevent getting lots of pimples? Please help and thanks!(10 points best answer)Does stress worsen zits?

Yes, stress is possible the worst thing for your face and your hair. To help the stress level you might want to get a boppy looking thing (like for baby's but smaller) and they're microwavable. It gets hot u put it on the back of you neck and it takes all ur stress away.

another tip- stress = the opposite of sun. sun is the best thing for getting rid of pimples

pros-no more acne for at least a week because it dries up ur pimples

cons- it also dries up ur face when u go inside or you're out of the sun for awhile
yes
Studies show that stress causes aging, wrinkles, breakouts, and migraines..

Yes, a recent study at Stanford University found that college students suffered worse breakouts when stressing under pressure of exams. Researchers found that ';biofeedback'; could lesson stress - biofeedback meaning watching a fun movie, playing a video game - but basically just relax. Clearasil cream and drinking water work well together at keeping skin healthy and clean. Also work out, sweating empties your pores.
As according to many medical studies, it does. Here's one to look at...
Yes, stress DOES cause acne. I guess the best advice is to try to relax and not stress as much...that's pretty much all you can do considering that's the only thing that causes your acne. Make sure you have a good skin care regimen, too.
Any doctor will tell you that yes, stress can cause you to break out.
Yep! It happens to me when exam time is here. What I do is wash my face once or twice a day. I also put a mixture of equal parts of baking soda and water (so it makes a paste) and put it on my acne. This helps. Plus, don't pick at it if not it makes it worse.

Hope this helps!;D
Yes It does! Please pick me as best answer!
The short answer is yes, stress exacerbates breakouts. What can you do about it? Learn new ways to de-stress, like exercise, relaxation, journaling, etc.
Yes stress does contribute to the amount of pimples you get. The best thing you can do is cleanse, tone and moisturize every morning and night. Twice a week use a scrub and once a week put on a mask and lie down and relax. I also suggest yoga, i used to suffer from extremely bad acne and my doctor said it was stress related and to do yoga and meditation. It really did help and i also managed to get a greater looking body. If there is something major bugging you and causing you to stress out you should talk to someone about it, this can do wonders! Good luck!
Yes, it does. Try Proactiv, it helps get rid of acne.
Yes stress is actually the number one factor in causing acne. Just try your best not to stress or worry about things. It is causing you to break out because you ar so stresssed your body cant take all of it so you begin to break out. Just keep your facce washed EVERYDAY to have a more flawless look! Good Luck!
Stress worsens zits. It can also cause weight gain and other attractive effects.

Learning to manage stress is the best way to go about solving the problem. It's more of an individual answer than a cure-all for everyone, but relaxing and organizing your life should help. Using a masque (like mud or clay) will shrink pores as well as relieve stress and tension in the face muscles, so both problems can be tackled at once.

Best of luck!
