What are some good ways to get rid of zits?

i'm fricken crying right now cause i have so many of em! ahh i hate them..

can you guys tell me what are some stuff not to eat and good products or WHATEVER ways that work.

i do wear base n foundation and stuff like that but i want my zits GONE!!!!! help???What are some good ways to get rid of zits?
I used to have a lot of pimples too and I hated them. Thankfully it does get better.

Some tips:

1. Don't touch your face often or pick at them. That can irritate your skin and cause more breakouts.

2. Use a face wash that has benzoyl peroxide. That is the same active ingredient that is in Proactive.

3. Get enough sleep, exercise, control stress, eat lots of fresh vegetables and yes drink lots of water.

4. Most importantly: your self worth does not come from your skin. Remember it will clear up with time. Don't let it undermine your confidence. What are some good ways to get rid of zits?
i use tooth paste on the big ones, it drys the pimple out. put a dab of paste on before you go to sleep and just wash it off in the morning
clearisil serum thingy its like in a tube and its supposed to clear ur zits significantly by the next day, workd for me sometimes
Use a facial scrub. It will take away any dead skin and wash away the grease. And try not to use foundation or any make up, these tend to clog your pores creating more break outs.
don't stress out (like you are now) CALM DOWN. Drink water! don't use foundation it will make it worser. Have a good night's rest!
dnt eat chocolate, u can put tooth paste on them, n also clinique has rlly good pore cleaners that dry up zits.
try leaving toothpaste on your face overnight.
proactive
Don't touch your face and quit popping them or picking at them. My husband is a dermatologist and this is the biggest cause of acne that his patients overlook time and time again! If you catch yourself doing it, stop yourself! Allow them to go away, more will come but you don't want red blotches on your face from popping them. Drink LOTS of water, it cleanses your system. Drink juices - cranberry juice, green tea is really good for the skin, pomegrante juice is EXCELLENT for the skin, orange juice, apple, etc. Water too remember! Wash your hands often b/c you will touch your face even when you don't notice it and the oil from your hands is what causes the acne. Tooth paste (NOT THE BLUE GEL KIND), the white paste kind when blotted on the pimple helps dry it up and make it go away. Eat vegetables and FRUIT is excellent for the skin. Avoid greasy foods and too many sweets. Get plenty of sleep. Don't wash your face too many times b/c lots of time my husbands patients try to get their pimples to go away by overwashing their faces and this just irritates the skin and dries it up which in turn causes the dry skin on the face to produce excess oil to try to bring moisture back to the skin. Try not to Stress! Stress is bad for the skin. Be happy! Most of all .... BE PATIENT! It isn't something you can get to go away within a matter of hours, be patient and remember what I told you. YOUR SKIN WILL DEFINITELY IMPROVE IF YOU DO WHAT I TOLD YOU. LIKE I SAID, MY HUSBAND IS A DERMATOLOGIST. Also, if your parents can afford it ask them if you can see a dermatologist. They have prescription medication that can help you. My husband prescribed me to Erythromycin Topical Gel USP, 2% it's made by Glade's Pharmaceuticals and this is what helped me alot. It's a gel in a white tube, it costs about $30 from the pharmacy if you have insurance but the tube will last you 2 months so it ends up only being $15 a month for acne medication (not that bad of a price). I hope I havve helped you.
