How to get rid of acne/pimples/zits?

well i have just recently gotten acne, zits and pimples. i'm twelve years old. my acne/pimples/zits aren't that bad but i want to get rid of it. i have really sensative skin. its only around my forehead and both sides of my nose.

i don't wanna use proactive. i wanna use something thats not super expensive. something cheaper...and please no home remedies

is washing my face with mild soap 3 times a day then putting lotion good enough?

oh i also don't eat many sweets and i'm really light for my age.How to get rid of acne/pimples/zits?
I know that everyone's acne problems are different... but I know what really really helped with my acne and it included no lotions or soaps.

Think about how many times a day you touch your face. Without even realizing it, I caught myself holding my chin/forehead/cheeks in my hands for no reason at all. In school, at work, sitting at my computer desk. A lot of people don't realize a lot of their bad skin issues comes from when you touch your face/body with your dirty, greasy hands. Hands can get pretty nasty and contain a loooot of oil. Honeslty, try your best to catch yourself if you tend to put your hands anywhere near your face for an extended period of time. It doesn't take much, really.

I know it's not the answer you're probably looking for, but I noticed a difference only a few days later in my complexion. Trust me honey, I've used them all. Proactive, Oxi, Clean and Clear, etc., none of them worked. But if you're looking for affordable, Oxi products are almost exactly like Proactive without the high cost. Guess you could try them, but be careful, beacuse when you use products like Proactive and Oxi, you'll notice that when you towel off your face your towels turn a bleached out color! Which can only mean, they're bleaching your face too, blegh!

Just remember, keep your hands away from your face! ;)

Best of luck to you!

You don't need Proactive! That's a really serious drug that's meant for dramatic cases of acne that persist through adolescence. Don't stress out about this -- literally everyone has some issue with their skin around this age.

It sounds like your skincare regimen is great, although I'd recommend that you scale back the face washing -- sensitive skin can dry out so easily.

Consider spot remedies, as opposed to different full-face treatments. Clean and Clear has a great spot treatment that dries out zits without affecting the surrounding area. And one tube can last for ages, so it's really cost effective.

Remember not to stress, and good luck!
You are suffering from teenage acne. I will suggest you to go to doctor and get the proper treatment for you. Avoid popping up your pimples it will make it more severe. you shouldn't wash your face too many times in a day. In the morning just wash with tap water. And when you returned home in the evening or night you wash it with soap. Washing your face too often might cause skin to be over drying.

If the acne problems are being a hassle to you, consider getting some pimple cream with salicylic acid, they worked amazing!

Hopes this helps :)
I just have to say, I use Proactive and it works great for me! But yes, it is expensive and they keep mailing me junk mail haha, so it's completely up to you.
i recommend cetaphil, it's a pretty good moisturizer

panoxyl 10% for pimples and adapalene for those tiny one (which a dermatologist recommended me)

There are several techniques you can try to get rid of pimples quickly.

1) Types of remedies for pimples - There are two different types of remedies for pimples: natural and chemical treatments. A natural remedy might be the best way to start. Do not ever squeeze a pimple as it will only help the bacteria spread on your skin and you will find yourself will even more pimples later! You can try an ice treatment. Hold an ice pack or some ice cubes in a towel on the pimple for a couple minutes every half an hour.

You can also try a little bit of toothpaste. Really, dab it onto the pimple and gently rub it in. This can actually help reduce the pimple by drying it out. You can create a cleanser with baking soda and water. Use it to gently clean your skin and affected area(s). Aloe Vera can also help you get rid of that pimple. Try dabbing some on the pimple itself and let it sit.

Of course, if you don't want to raid your kitchen, looking for natural remedies, you can try a chemical remedy.

There are plenty of over-the-counter medications to help get rid of acne. When you get to the store, look at the ingredients in the product. It should say what the active ingredient is and what its function is. Its function should be to get rid of pimples quickly.

3) How to tackle adult acne - Adult acne can be troublesome because we think we are supposed to outgrow acne problems after we have gone through our teenage years. This is far from the truth. Many adults suffer from acne problems.
some of the cheapest ways on earth to get rid of acne without using a lot of time.

1. Carrots

Eating more carrots can be really good for acne, based on my personal experience. No matter how severe your acne condition is, you can expect to gain some great improvements over your acne in just 1 week, if not days. For best results, it is better to consume carrots raw. You can also drink carrot juice to treat your acne.

Why carrot is so good for acne is because it contains a lot of fibers and vitamin A, both of which are really beneficial for acne. Fibers aid greatly in detoxification of the body and vitamin A is required for the general health of the skin. Vitamin A can treat acne and the lack of it can cause acne.

2. Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil is used topically on your acne. In other words, you apply tea tree oil directly onto your skin. Tea tree oil kills acne causing bacterias effectively and this is why tea tree oil is so good for acne. Compared to those expensive products that have big name celebrities promoting them, tea tree oil is far better than those branded products. I had used most of the main and popular acne treatment products that are heavily advertised now and was not able to get better results than tea tree oil. And guess what, tea tree oil is dirt cheap.

3. Ginger juice

Ginger juice is my top secret remedy for quick acne cure. Ginger contains elements that are anti-inflammatory which means that ginger reduces swelling and redness caused by acne while being able to prevent the formation of inflammatory acne. Ginger juice is best consumed without adding in any water. One note of caution here, pure ginger juice can never be tasty. I recommend adding in honey or other sweetener to make this drink tastier. Drink it 3 times a day or more and experience the changes it can bring to your health, body and acne.
Use these 3 tips on how to get rid of acne overnight and see a clearer you the following morning....

Tip No.1 - Use egg whites. You can use egg whites on your pimples. Egg whites help to dry out pimples. Dab the egg whites on your pimples and wait for around 20 minutes. Remove the egg whites with a moist cloth or warm water. Your face should register a marked improvement by the next morning.

Tip No.2 - Use apple cider vinegar. Many people swear that this concoction really works. You should wash your face and pat dry with a soft towel. Dip a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and dab your entire face with it. Even though it is a liquid with a very strong smell and can even sting sensitive skin, it can still work wonders by eliminating your pimples. You can leave it overnight but if you cannot stand the smell then remove it once it is dry.

Tip No.3 - Use lemon juice. Fresh lemon juice is a better smelling alternative and also works quite well. Squeeze the lemon juice in a small bowl and apply on the entire face with a cotton ball. Wait until it dries up and then wash off with warm water. Lemon juice has antiseptic properties and can quickly attack those persistent pimples.
Here is how to do it correctly so you limit the chances of getting an even larger breakout.

1. You need to get warm moisture into the pimple so you soften the skin and reduce the scarring that can come from bursting it. The simplest way to do this is hold a warm cloth gently over the pimple until you feel the skin loosen some. The most effective method is to boil water on the stove and hold your face down over the steam as it boils, with a towel over your head to hold the steam in near your face.

2. Take a soft tissue, cotton ball, or Q-tip and hold it up next to the pimple. Squeeze from the sides as gently as possible until it starts to drain out. Be careful to drain it into the tissue so you do not track bacteria and oil across surrounding areas of skin. There should be a more solid ball or core that comes out as well, or you may have to gently take it out from the center.

3. Do not wipe on the pimple at this point as there will still be bacteria and oil coming from where the pimple was. It is likely to be red, swollen, and may continue to drain or even bleed a little. It is time to gently wash the area with a very mild soap, patting it with a tissue or very soft rag instead of rubbing or wiping over it. Pat it until it is clean and dry.

4. Pressing a cotton ball with alcohol directly onto the site will help to dry it up some and bring down the redness a bit.

In a few words, I have to really say that those are the royal tips for getting rid of acne quickly. This will not only eradicate your acne areas quickly but also make your skin surface elegant and eye-catching!
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at http://skincleansingsystem .com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.
Firstly, you will want to soften the area around the pimple. The best way to do this would be to boil some water on the stove and hold your face at an angle over the steam with a towel on your head to keep the steam on your face.

The next thing that you will want to do is to get a piece of cotton ball or Q-tip to place on the sides of the pimple. Apply sturdy but gentle pressure to both sides of the pimple until you hear it pops. Keep the cotton ball on the pimple while applying a lit pressure to prevent the puss and bacteria from spreading to other areas of your skin.

Remove the cotton ball and wipe the area with some alcohol. It may be a little swollen after you are don popping the pimple but that is ok. Here is what you should do to reduce the swelling. Place an ice pack and hold it on the area for about two minutes. Repeat this at 5 minute intervals and the swelling should go away very quickly.

This is a quick way to get rid of acne pimples very fast. However it is never recommended that you pop your pimple so you should use the above method only in an extreme case where you have no other choice.
Here's how to get rid of it quickly and safely:

1. Don't ever pinch, squeeze or pick at a pimple. This only

causes it to become more red and inflamed, and will spread the

bacteria and oils that caused it in the first place, to other

parts of your face! It can also lead to scars.

2. Every 30 minutes, apply an ice pack to the pimple and hold it

there for about 2 minutes. This will decrease the swelling and

redness and help shrink the inflammation and pain that sometimes

comes along with it.

3. They don't call it concealer for nothing! Covering the pimple

with a light dose of flesh-tinted concealer can help mask it when

you're in a hurry. It also helps cover up that oily shine.

4. Cleanse your skin 2-3 times a day with mild, unscented soap or

a specialized acne cleanser that has no harsh chemicals (such as

lye). Scrub skin gently with an exfoliating pad or washcloth, but

don't rub too hard, otherwise you'll sap your skin of its own

natural oils, which help to repel buildup naturally.

5. Apply a cream or ointment containing benzyl peroxide or

salicylic acid (many over-the-counter acne medicines contain

these ingredients) to the blemish or around the entire facial

area. Note that these ingredients both have a tendency to dry

out skin if used too much and are not recommended if you have

sensitive skin.

6. Wear oil-free makeup whenever possible. These types have less

of a tendency to cause the pore buildup that results in

blemishes. Remove your makeup nightly and cleanse with an

acne-fighting medicine to remove dirt, oil and makeup from deep

within the skin.

7. If you're in need of a quick fix, a dab of toothpaste on the

affected area right before bed can help soothe irritation and

reduce redness. Pressing and holding a wet tea bag or a cotton

ball with a dab of lemon juice against the blemish for five

minutes can also reduce swelling and redness.
