Kinda gross question lol.. makeup on my zits!?

hey, im 13 and i have ';mild'; (i guess) acne, but i always have zits like right in the middle of my face that are reeeeally red and are really dry so the skin around the zit is flaking. i exfoliate and put on tons of moisturizer, but that dosent help. when i put the foundation on, it looks really cakey and it looks even WORSE then when i didnt have makeup on!

ANY HELP HERE?

thanks soo much!Kinda gross question lol.. makeup on my zits!?
You may be over-exfoliating. You shouldn't exfoliate more than once a week, and if you have acne, you shouldn't exfoliate at all. And you need to keep makeup off your acne as much as possible. If you have to wear makeup on your acne, try a mineral makeup. I love Bare Minerals. If you can't afford the whole kit, just buy Skin Revver-Upper. It will clear up your acne and smooth your skin in no time. $21/bottle, and it lasts FOREVER. www.bareminerals.comKinda gross question lol.. makeup on my zits!?
Well instead of thinking about covering-up your zits, why not focus more on trying to get rid of them ?

since all that makeup does is make people look at you closer because they see skin-colored bumps on your face. The redness is not going to cover-up for good. trust me. and the bump...still there.

what I do is exfoliate with Baking soda, Scrub with Sugar, Lemon Juice can always be a replacement for Vinegar, I also apply egg whites. You can try doing research on natural home-made acne products because the ones in the stores are just a big ball of chemicals and they dry up your skin but natural ones don't .
its understanable exfoliation and clensing is great but be careful about moisturizer, only apply it when you know your skin is clean, basically right after you cleanse. you might want some kind of astringent too or a toner to put on befor the mosturizer. be careful with exfoliation it could irriate your skin worse. i use this make up from almay its clear complexion make up, its good for overall coverage and i use the little bit in the lid for conceler (they also make clear complexion concerler) it fights oil and it will balance out those mild trouble spots. ive also heard proactiv works but ive never tried it.
I have a the same problem (except foundation works for me). I usually get it in the middle of my forehead which i hate! Cuz i look really weird! But there is one thing that really works, Its on t.v all the time and i was like ';Its keeps running because they don't have much customers'; But then i tried it because my friend said it really works. And it does! Its proactiv, its better then moisturizer because moisturizer dosen't really work! so if you want to know more about it just go to: http://www.proactiv.com/

hope i helped, and i'm sure they will be gone! It works and i'm sure you won't want your money back!
Trust me...Do NOT put makeup on your acne....It will only make it worse!!!! And this is coming from experience. Try using rubbing alcohol. It may sound crazy but it worked for me and a friend.

TIP: Makeup clogs pores up even more so DON'T do it!!!^_^
Make-up only worsens the ';acne'; because of all the chemicals in them most face make-up has charcoal in them which clogs your pores even more. Try and ask your doctor for some acne medication. But definitely stay away from face make-up.
dont put makeup on it that usually makes it worse.

but to get rid of them, put rubbing alcohol on your zits for a few days and they will shrink.

or put toothpaste on them before you go to bed.

i do the alcohol thing. it works better
You could try tinted moisturiser or mineral makeup, but MAKE SURE to use primer before you apply makeup. Primer will help get your skin ready for the makeup %26amp; it helps to clean out your pores a little bit.

Hope I helped! :)
try a light foundatin that matches your skin tone, Tru blend is great and then dust a light powder over it to blend in with the rest of your skin
